Join us to learn in a private, small group setting with an opportunity for your individual questions. If you are an adult who is currently receiving SSI or SSDI benefits and you’re thinking about returning to work or working for the first time, this class is for you! Learn what some of your options are for increasing your income through employment. This class teaches you what your return-to-work benefits responsibilities are and what you can do to start preparing yourself to go back to work. You will also be introduced to options for free employment counseling and additional assistance through Ticket to Work, Vocational Rehabilitation and more. Individuals are also guided through how to ask for disability accommodations to meet their needs.
